5th april marked the end of another successful open mic festival at Kaptembwa in Nakuru town. the festivals were organized by REPACTED KENYA and funded by APHIAIIUSAID were the second of its kind in Nakuru.The festivals aim is to promote hiv/aids awareness to the youths through use of rap music by engaging young and aspiring artist in freestyle battles on thematic is

The festivals which continued in a series of weeks from estate to estate picking the winning artist to compete at the finals. then the artist were taken through a week long workshop to empower them with the content required by the judges before the finals and they teamed up to compose a song. PILIPILI grazzed the occasion and the music and sound system was handled by DJ Solly from TIDYS RESTURANT.
